Re: Compassionate Release for Ramiro "Ramsey" Muniz, 40288-115

Dear President Obama, Mr. Zauzmer, and Ms. Lynch::

The National Political Committee to Free Ramsey Muñiz was represented at the 87th National LULAC Convention in Washington, D.C. Resolutions for his freedom have been passed at Texas and  National LULAC Conventions. This represents many years of support which has never been acknowledged..

We wait for a decision by Robert A. Zauzmer, Pardon Attorney, and President Barack Obama on a Petition for Compassionate Release for Ramsey Muñiz, 40288-115, who is 73 years of age. He is not violent, and his conduct has been good. He is disabled, as he spends 90% of his time in a wheelchair. These are the criteria described in the Compassionate Release Program..

Many supporters recognize the advancements that Muñiz brought for Mexican Americans, Chicanos, Hispanics, and others. As a result, he became subject to unjust suffering which continues to this day. We continue to seek civil and human rights, adovcating  freedom, justice, and love for Ramsey Muñiz, Hispanics, and all humanity.

Hispanics throughout the country remain dedicated to this humanitarian cause. We need your assistance and we expect assistance from leaders who seek Hispanic votes yet do not acknowledge our problems.

For information about Ramsey Muñiz go to,

Irma Muñiz, Chairperson
National Political Committee to Free Ramsey Muñiz
