Re: Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro “Ramsey”
Muñiz 40288-115
Dear Mr. President:
I am writing to express my support for a Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro “Ramsey” Muñiz, who is now 70 years of age. He has been incarcerated for nearly twenty years. His sentence of life without parole is severe.
Mr. Muñiz is respected by many people throughout
the United States for the contributions that he has made throughout his
life. Through his community activism he brought
about educational, economic, and political advancements for Mexican Americans,
Hispanics, and many others.
Ramsey Muñiz is a good man and his conduct is exemplary. He lives a peaceful and spiritual life. Through his character, studies, and spirituality, he has a positive influence on others, and helps them seek peaceful solutions in their lives.
I join the national organizations, congressmen,
educators, and many others who seek a Commutation of Sentence for Ramsey Muñiz. We ask that a favorable decision be granted on
his petition for executive clemency.
We have great love for Ramsey and we have not lost our faith in God's power to restore his freedom. We ask your mercy and compassion in allowing him to spend his few remaining years of life with his family.
Very truly yours,
