            Re: Support for Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro “Ramsey” Muñiz 40288-115

Dear Ms. Leff:

I am writing in support of the Petition for Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro "Ramsey" Muñiz, based on his health and age. Muñiz is not violent. He is 72 years of age and he suffers from chronic, degenerative medical conditions. Muñiz is not able to walk as before.  He spends over 80% of his time in a wheelchair. These circumstances that could not have been foreseen by the Court during his sentencing in 1994. 

We seek your assistance. Please forward the Petition for Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro "Ramsey" Muñiz to President Barack Obama. 

We remain politically involved in this matter, and we ask that the Petition for Commutation of Sentence for Ramiro "Ramsey" Muñiz be granted by President Barack Obama.
